What is Frozen Yeast?

  • Free-Flowing Frozen Yeast (FFFY), also known as semi-dry yeast, was first developed and refined right here at Lesaffre.
  • Frozen yeast allows bakers in the Philippines to meet the growing demands for frozen dough products.

With frozen yeast, you’ll also enjoy the advantages of dry yeast combined with the excellent performance of fresh compressed yeast.

Frozen Yeast Characteristics

Achieve consistently high-quality baked goods with every use of Lesaffre Philippines’ frozen yeast.

Retains all properties when stored under -18°C.
Packaged in a 14kg bag in a box or a 500g Tetra Pac.
Available in two quality levels: standard and osmotolerant (for sweet doughs).
